Can anyone recommend a book for Quark Xpress 6.0

I bought a book on Quark about 2 weeks ago... bought it purely out of interest as I haven't seen too many around.

It's difficult to judge it as I've already taught myself Quark, but it certainly seems to cover most of the features.

It's a small volume and doesn't get creative about anything, but if you're puzzled over a certain aspect of Quark it should explain it.

    Teach Yourself QuarkXPress
    by Christopher Lumgair
    ISBN 0-340-85975-X

    HTH

Edit: That ISBN number is for version 4. I'm sure there's a new edition out to cover version 6 though.

I agree. All the Quark Purists will change over when they realise how crap Quark has gotten.

Quark's still amazingly reliable and deadly - if you're using version 4. 5's too slow and 6... well I've heard nothing but bad stories.

If they can roll out a new version of Quark soon and ACTUALLY IMPROVE THE INTERFACE, FUNCTIONALITY AND FEATURES AND GUARUNTEE SPEED AND STABILITY, THEY PEOPLE MAY GO BACK TO THEM.

But now Adobe's boasting this new, improved workflow gubbins. I dunno.
