    AIM (LIVE) - SPECIAL 10-PIECE BAND PERFORMANCES.
    SPECIAL GUEST, KATE ROGERS

    TOMORROW, WEDNESDAY, October 29th '03 At The Village, Dublin.
    THIS THURSDAY, October 30th '03 At The Empire, Belfast

    Aim (aka Andy Turner) plays two exclusive Irish shows with a spectacular 10-piece band this week!

    Featuring...
    Drums, percussion, 2 guitarists, bass, 2 horn players, keys, DJ.
    PLUS - on vocals: long-time Aim collaborator, KATE ROGERS, and NIKO*, along with M.C. SPIKEY TEE**

    *Niko appears on Mr. Scruff's latest album ('Trouser Jazz') and on Only Child's 'Solitaire'. She recently released the 'You're My Favourite Music' 12" and is currently putting the finishing touches to her own full debut album (release date tbc)

    **Spikey Tee was a member of "the Syndicate" hip hop collective and then moved on to join Jah Wobble. He has worked with the likes of Mr Scruff, Bomb The Bass and even Rebel MC. He was also guest vocalist on Morcheeba's Album 'Big Calm' and was the MC for the Blood and Fire Sound System.

    This week's shows will feature the full Aim repertore covering 7 years of recordings for Manchester's Grand Central label with full live performances of tracks from all 3 of his acclaimed albums - 'Cold Water Music', 'Hinterland' and his latest long-player, 'Means of Production (the singles 1995 - 1998)'.


    KATE ROGERS will also be warming up on the night, performing her own solo material. Coinciding with the live shows, Kate releases her ‘Welcome EP’ this Friday, October 31st.

    The EP is sneak preview of Kate Rogers’ debut album ‘St Eustacia’ which will be released in February 2004.
