Haven't seen him before but going along this time and looking forward to it. His concerts are notoriously unpredictable, can be rubbish or brilliant, but the stelist so far this tour looks good. Seems like theres no support band?

The Waifs were due to support Bob Dylan throughout his European tour, but have now backed out (they do, however, promise to play a headling show/s in Ireland in the nearby future). A new support has yet to be confirmed.

On a side note, tickets for Bob Dylan's Dublin show have gone back on sale at Ticketmaster. Enjoy.

i saw him in the point last time, it was pretty good not brilliant. dont be expecting a greatest hits night, though he will play some classics. you can check out his playlist for almost evey gig he played recently here. you can prdict what he will play on the night. he does totally different versions of many songs so it may be near the end before you realise what song he is playing

I don't think there is going to be any support now, Aiken says that he will be on-stage at 8:00pm sharp, which doesn't leave alot of time for a second band. Hopefully Dylan will make up for it by playing longer.

I think your right about no support which is dissapointing to be quite honest, oh well Bob better make up for it.

ok saw the gig last night, and i think id have to say it was only ok, not fantastic like i was hoping, firstly he just played piano all night!! most of the songs seemed to turn into jam sessions, which wasnt all bad and then he only played for about 2 hours!!

at least i got home early to bed!

supposedly he has larangitis or however you spell it, he sounded fine last night, well as fine as you would expect!

    crap one though

Wow, that really sucks. Since it was cancelled this afternoon many people must have travelled down to the venue unbeknownst to the illness. Theres nothing that could have been done anyway, but it could have easilly been the other way round (I go to Dublin show, excellent gig).

Well Dylan is coming back, must have owed the promoters a show after cancelling Millstreet last November. I thought he owed the people of the south a show, a show in Millstreet or Cork or at least somewhere in Munster but no looks like he's playing Galway and Belfast.
