Blocking out channels?

Hi Everyone. Need some help. I got Sky installed 10 days ago. It's fantastic, but I have one major problem. I thought that the parental control feature would block out all pornographic material on all channels. However, I have since discovered that this facility does not work on certain channels, in particular, Live Tv, Friendly Tv, and Game network, when a lot of sex comes on at night. This has been very distressing for my parents, in particular my father. I need to block out these channels, and also the Free Preview on the adult channels. Sky can't help me, because these are all free to air channels. But surely there must be some way of blocking out these channels, or putting some sort of a pin number on them before viewing. I can't believe that with all of the modern technology that is available, that we can't do this. Our old cable company, despite all of it's faults, allowed us to do this. I'm shocked that SKY, despite being a far superior product, can't seem to help us. PLEASE I BADLY NEED HELP ON THIS ONE, otherwise Sky will just have to go.

I want to block certain channels on sky, My 6yr old daughter is watching too much Disney and not enough tom and jerry.
Seriously the crap that is spewed out of these "kids shows" on Disney all based on dancing teenagers and the like would do your head in.

Im going to allow her look at them at the weekends but is their a way to block a channel either with a pin no or some other way.
    Any help much appreciated

Theres more violence on Tom and Jerry than most 18 movies these days. Serious amount of abuse and harassment from Tom. To be fair Jerry is just defending himself.

You can pin lock any channel you choose, just go to the parental settings and turn on pin restrictions by pressing the blue button then go across to the channel list and select which channels you would like to lock by pressing the yellow button.

Dont forget to save your selections when done by pressing the green button.
