Poor NTL signal D.14, anyone else ?

Has anyone else in D.14 had a poor NTL signal since Sunday morning ? It has nothing to do with the storms last week, as it was working perfectly up to and including the rugby match on Sunday morning. About half an hour after the match the signal on the analogue TV's just went Sh1t. The analogue TV's in the house are just really snowy, and the newly installed digital won't work at all due to the poor signal. It just gives some error message. Rang NTL and they can't send someone out until Friday ! Five days without TV ! They claim that they will give me credit for the days without the service.

Anyone else suffering from poor signals ?

why not stick a clothes hanger, rabbit ears or something into the back of the tv and rediscover the wonder of Irish television, painfull but better than noting

    I think I'd rather read a book instead ! :)

BTW The reason NTL gave for not having an engineer free until Friday was that they are really busy trying to fix loads of people's fried TV's/STB's from the electrical storms last week ! FFS

I'll just have to sit it out I suppose.

NTL called out this evening..(I know, I was surprised aswell given that they gave me an appointment for Friday). Turns out that some distributor box in the area blew and had to be replaced. I'm a happy camper again. Thanks NTL - I take it all back !
