i am wondering about claiming VAT back, it obviously can be done within ireland with irish companys

but im getting mixed responses from various people when i ask them about ordering from UK companys

i want to buy some hardware from a UK online store but would like to be able to claim the VAT back

is it possible or can it only be done with irish companys?

You should quote your VAT number to them and they should export to you VAt free.
