im going to be buying one or the other. thing is i cant really afford the powerbook, so im just wondering what the main difference is between the two. i will mostly be using it for video editing purposes. [has to be a laptop]

good timing the new G4 iBooks were just announced this week

the best way to comare what the differences are is to take a look at the tech specs side by side:

http://www.apple.com/powerbook/specs.html

you can see the port differences, processors and cache offerings, optical drive differences etc...
