Unlocking a UK Mobile

I have seen the Siemens MC60 phone, advertised in the UK for £99 (€145) on T-Mobile (pay as you go). That is 50% off the price of a sim-free one over here (bought through O2 stores) and about €105 saving off a Speakeasy version.

Can I buy this phone in the UK and get it unlocked over here?

Some UK networks - Orange for instance - Will guve you the unlock code when you buy the phone for an extra 20 quid.

Thanks! I've found the answer on the T-Mobile website - £15 to get it unlocked by them, bringing the total cost of the phone to £114 (€164) - still a massive saving!
