error msg need help

I thougth i would try out the games2.iol.ie:27960 server to see what it was like and this msg appeared " server disconnected- unpure client detected. invalid.pk3 files referrenced!" I thought at frist it could have been something to do with the updates not being installed rite but the i uninstalled q3 fully and reinstalled the cd andthe 1.32 update SAME MSG!! PLz someone help!

You need to make sure you have the latest point release and osp. You can find them here -

you didn't say you had OSP

-get version 1.03 ~ 56M
-theres a patch for version 1.03 aswell ~ 7M

talking of error messages, when i join a server from gamespy or the all seeing eye .. i get invalid_cdkey. yet if i join from the q3 internal game browser, it works dandy ... and if i then try and join thru the 3rd party browsers .. they work at least once before throwing the error message.

rite downloading version 1.03 ~ 56M this better work or esle i will really be pissed! Anyway ill update you all in 2 ours when its finished

Butcher: have you tried deleting your q3key file and re-entering it at the prompt once you've clicked into a game from your game browser?
