ahh brilliant. its scathing review time (i posted this elsewhere this morning as well):

so let me give a simple point-form rundown of why this gig sucked:

a) there were mingers dancing on stage.
b) dizee rascal only actually sang 4 of his own songs.
c) **** rap music was played.
d) the dj only had one arm.
e) the first supoprt act played 4/5 pharcyde tracks in the space of 40 min (buy some new ****ing albums mate.. and expand your listening).
f) the second support act done with two djs what Craze or any half-talented dj could do with his dick. (with one guy tapping the records to the beat for some bizarre reason)
g) rap. the whole night was rap. not an aota of hip-hop.
h) white home-boys all over the place.
i) no crowd interaction.
j) i could actually get to z with these points.
k) during the main act all they did was play old "classic" rap songs (read: ****).
l) dizee rascal seems like an absolute twat.
m) they had a dancing competition with the mingers. i did not pay to see this.
n) several skangers were given the mic throughout the night to wow the crowd with their mc skillz. shut the **** up and get off the stage.
o) people in the queue thought creative controle and xzibit (?) were the epitome of rap.
p) the dj shouted for an encore at the end. i really dont think anybody cared if dizee rascal came back on or not. its not as if he was doing anything.
q) i did not pay to listen to snoop doggy dogg or whatever the **** hes called.
r) it started way too late.
s) they played dodgy rap (oh wait have i already mentioned that?)

i'll leave it there. overall an astounding succes and well worth my money.
hurrah dizee rascal i salute you and your crew of incompetent losers.
this is one person who will not be coming back for your gig in january.

as for the new magazine? no thanks... glossy branded bollox, terrible "lets seem pretentious" album reviews and no decent articles... go sell it to the white home-boys.
