    atari jaguar!

Sorry, but I loath soaps, never really understood the whole thing. Funny how they tackle all of societies problems on a weekly basis and in such a small community.

Like coronation street and home and away (although I don't have time to watch it any more).

I picked Eastenders. Shane Ritchie is brilliant comic relief as Alfie!

The Australian soaps are pretty much nonsense and the savage looking dollybirds are the only real reason to watch them. woosaysdan above will probably agree. That blondie wan is cute alright but the oldest daughter of the man with the weirdest mouth on terrestrial television is an absolute cracker; Dani I believe they call her. Neighbours had Nicola Charles, who played Sarah, a few years back but now we have to make do with Stephanie Scully. Come on lads, lets get it together for those of us who can get home by 5:35 of an evening, some tasty totty please.
Coronation St. = Karen & Sarah Lou. (she's 20 in real life!)
Eastenders = Zoe Slater, gammy mouth, but the new boobs have gone down a treat
Fair City = Lord help us it's not a great line up, the young mother wan is the only looker on the set.
Ros Na Run = I reckon every young woman who spells her name ás gaeilge is a cracker coz they are quality on this show & then you have the TG4 weather girls & newreaders Sharon Ni Bheolain & Gráinne Ni Seoige.
Dream Team = Has there been a boiler on this show? I doubt it.

Id watch coronation street most often, with Eastenders if there is nothing better on. The oul one watches emmerdale as well and I have no time for it because its so ludicrous. Some of the stories Ive seen in it are unbelieveably brutal.
Ever noticed in soaps that there has never once been a baby born/woman made pregnant where there wasnt either a doubt over who the father is,the threat of abortion hung over the kids head for a time, the kid was aborted,or else it died soon after birth? Whatever happened to somebody discovering their wife/girlfriend is pregnant and both being happy about it? Miserable gits.

And on a related topic when a married/attached person has a bit of a rumble with somebody they shouldnt how come that person ALWAYS gets up the duff? Havent they ever heard of contraception? Does the Rovers or the Queen Vic not have a johnny machine? And how come every soap has a slapper who goes about shagging like a rabbit but,if were to believe all the pregnancy stories, never uses a condom! So how come the local GP isnt flooded with cases of nob rot?

I like Ros Na Run - more happens in it that the others combined.

The OZ soaps - for the scenery.

I can't handle the gloom of Eastenders.

    oh....
    my...
    god...
i cant believe all (by that i mean "most") of ye like soaps....
i think they are horrible and all the actors should be shot will burning in a bonfire, no offence towards them or anything :)
they are all ****e, seriously now, have some taste lads ;)

but if i HAD to watch any of them, i would watch that irish one, well just coz i would give the RTÉ ratings instead of a british channel

    CASE CLOSED! :D

Watched Neighbours for the first time in a few months and the new girl Izzy Max's sis is something else.
Dream Team went downhill after season 3 IMO has become a total farce.
Eastenders has its ups and downs Alfie reminds me of Del in OFAH and Spencer as Rodney.
Family Affairs was good in the begining but then killed off characters wish someone would kill Pete.
I remember the days of Sunset Beach where no one knew how to act.

    :D

for comedy value it has to be something like Home and Away...myself and my mother sit there guessing what they are going to say or do next....tis funny just how accurate you can be and thats without be a fan and not knowing most of the charactors!

but for actual entertainment it has got to be eastenders...its about as close to quality tv as soaps get!
