CC handling for a one-off event?

    Hi
    we're hosting an event next year for which participants must pay a registration fee. We'd like to make it possible for them to pay online by credit card. It's a once off event. Is is possible that we could contract out the credit card handling to an outside company - ie have a form on our server which just sends all the details to this outside company and gets the yes/no and details back from them?
    We want to cut down on the work we have to do, the security concerns and so on. We can do 'ordinary' web stuff easily in house - just not credit cards.

    Any other ways we could do this?
