    my brother is a qualified plumber and he will be going to work in Australia in February for a year. Do you know if he will need any extra qualifications before or will he be OK?

    his best port of call is to ring usit, they have loads of info about working down under.

    The water goes down the plug hole a different way down.

    Doubt if he will need to get any further training unless they use different fittings or the like, but qualplex and the like are used the worl over so i'd say hes ok.
