Was that not the most weird thing ever?

    Some quotes that stood out

"I used hate Australians until I realised 50% of them are women"

"That's the kind of question I'd expect from someone who presents a travel show"

"wouldn't like to meet Peter Cloughessy down a dark alley, but you'd be a different matter" (said to Katherine Thomas)

I saw it too - was he drunk? Or just intentionally trying to insult everyone?

Definitely seemed to still hate Australians though given the treatment he gave Adam Hills.
Panel was very funny last night. Not even Looney managed to ruin it.

I like his radio show but he came across as being an arrogent idiot (the kind of opiniated mouth that you invariable find in a pub during a match, and have to restrain yourself from smacking).
It's a great show, but Hook on it was terrible and boring (the bloke from fair city was funnier, that's how bad Hook was).

dammit, actually thought looney was quite congenial until I figured out who she was.

Hook did seem to have that combo of a bit drunk and trying to rub the panel up in that oh aren't I so smart rugby club bar fashion.

Fair City bloke was best. Until next post here's the virtual equivalent of the 5 second signoff stare................................
    and roll credits!

Hookie was very funny though. I especially liked the way he paid little or no attention to that awful Looney woman, but tried it on with the pretty blonde lassie. That must have wrangled with the boot-faced ageing journo somewhat. Hookie just didn't give a damn, fair play, more of that please, to heck with the consequences.

I'm sorry I missed it now. It sounds as if it was a good show last night.
