Just wondering what people plan to be watching on hallowe'en? plan to get a few mates and a few drinks over and some classic horror movies all night long.

so far the wicker man has been suggested, i'm leaning towards texas chainsaw as well and then a few others.

    And you lot?

From Dusk Til Dawn because you need something to lighten the atmosphere.
Haven't really thought about it. Maybe Ring and Ring 2 back to back. Probably Evil Dead 2 aswell.

Alien Directors Cut at the cinema, most likely!

Return of the Living Dead is great when you're pissed.

    Blood Feast too.

The Hills Have Eyes, Happiness of the Katakuris and Deathsport at home. Maybe even Spontaneous Combustion, if I'm not too tired.

Then House of 1000 Corpses and Undead as part of Horrorthon.

I thought I might watch Evil Dead Trilogy followed by Hellraiser, The Thing and something else.

You'll be drunk right? Well you'd probably want to watch films that don't require much thinking, heavy on mindless violence and less so on plot. I'd say go for the likes of Nightmare on Elm St., Friday 13th, Evil Dead, Return of the living Dead etc.
However you know that you MUST watch Halloween if its available. Its against the law not to on hallowe'en :)

    Yep, this weekend coming.

I'm going from the surprise film on Sunday right through until House of 1000 Corpses on Monday evening.

Particularly looking forward to "Pieces" and "The Grudge".

I'd usually take in the whole festival, but I have a friend coming up that weekend.

And what's with the repeat of "Don't Torture a Duckling"? It wasn't that outstanding in the first place...

I found the whole ring trilogy to be rather over hyped.

The wickerman is a classic, but I must have loaned that dvd to at least ten people and not one even remotely liked it.

I finally got around to watching evil dead 2 & 3 last night. Jeez, no 3 was absolute sh1te. Number 2 is good but doesn't hold a patch on the original. I wasn't too impressed with it just being a rehash of the original. Surely they could have reworked the script a tad for some continuity.

I've never seen The texas chainsaw massacre, is it worth splashing out on?

I got hold of Bangkok Haunted the other day but I doubt I'll actually get a chance to watch it tomorrow. But that's my plan on Halloween-film. After that, The Dead Zone.

Happiness of the Katakuris, Zombie Flesh Eaters.
Possible the Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake (to see what it's like).

Caesar_Bojangle, no bad words will be said about Evil Dead 2 or Army of Darkness, BEGONE EVIL NAYSAYER!
