Given the relative non-event that Teen Big Brother was this week and the panning of this year's main Big Brother by the critics should this pathetic excuse for television entertainment be put out its misery with immediate effect?

Will? When people stop caring enough to even create a online-polls on the issue ... then yes the show WILL be axed whether we like it or not. But not until that time.

Should? I don't like the show but clearly somone does otherwise it wouldn't be on TV anymore. So leave it on as long as they want to keep watching it. It's not doing me any harm.

I didn't get the whole concept of teen big brother.

    18 isn't far of 21 or 22.

Most of the contestant have been in their early to mid twenties.

Would I be suprise if an 18 year old had sex while 22 year olds don't. Things just happen.

But yes it will be axed eventually but not until it has run dry.

but then it could be like Coronation Street and The Late Late!!!!!

    ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

No, if the producers take aboard some of the BBUS ideas.

    Yes otherwise.

    It is what it's.

I doubt we'd ever be that lucky. I'll admit that I enjoyed the first Big Brother but after that it just got worse and worse and, surprisingly enough, even worse again :(

I hated the first one and while some idiots around the world sat in and watched boring people to do boring things while being bored i was off living life to be fullest... i was listening to music.. but the music wasn't boring.. and thats my point,

    big brother sucks!

they pretty much milked it to the death years ago, they should have stopped it after the 1st one, or second perhaps...

now its just a joke really and i really wish they would stop throwing it in our faces thinking they will get more viewers for doing so, we dont turn over to that crap for one reason, it is just that = CRAP!

yeh well like this 'salon' thing it takes up space on E4 which could be used for more intresting programs! (i wont even start my rant on the salon...)

ah go on, the salon is appalling, i can't believe it's allowed on tv for six or seven or whatever amount of hours it's on per day!
    janey it's dire.

I don't think it should necessarily be axed...but maybe if they took a break it might be a good idea...a couple of years and all the previous 'stars' of the show would be after fading into oblivion....it would be fresh again then! I thinkthey should do the same with the like of pop idol!

Yes, get rid of it! It's pathetic brain sucking ****e, and that salon programme is utter balls.

Big Brother will probably be around for another few seasons, and that's fine if people still enjoy watching it. The problem is the phenomenon it caused and as a result reality TV shows are everywhere, and we've had to out up with muck such as Cabin Fever and Celebrity farm. That's the kind of TV we could do without.

the main problem for Big Brother is E4's constant coverage. people see it the whole time and then get sick to death of it. that is why Big Brother 1 was so successful i think because there was no round the clock coverage on tv, only online

Only E4 isn't as wide spread in britian as it is here.

Here if you have C4 you have E4, in Britian you don't so it remains a novelty for standard TV viewers.:(

E4 is available in what 7, 8, 9 million households in the UK. that is a lot of people who have access to it

    Are u sure of that.

I would have thought Free View was more widespread and its not available on Free View.
