So i was talking to a friend tonight and she claims that if you go to college the chances are high that you will have met your future spouse by the time you graduate. Anyone ever hear of this?
It freaked me out a bit because she is now finished college and says that i am pretty high in the running to be her future husband!!!
I still have two more years to find mine.
Unless i fail this year and dont go back. **** i better start studying.......

lol i doubt that very much, but in saying the college i attended was rather small, not much diversity. I hope to go back to college next year, maybe i'll meet someone then ;)

College is generally the place most of us make our best friends (and in the case of those of us who were subjected to single-gender schools, most of our friends from the other gender), so there's probably a fair element of truth to that.

Then again, it's probably because by that time you'll have met more people in the first 20 or so years of your life than you will for the rest of your life. Statistics, and all that.

One of those things where you don't really know whether to laugh or cry. :)

lol if only life was so fun.
I love college and have made great friends so i really pity those who do not enjoy the experience. The thoughts of a real job after a lifetime of education is too scary for me.

Sorry but to be quite honest it sounds as if she wants to get into bed with you or marry you or both.

Personal credence is the only way to prove points such as this......if that makes sense. Although I have been chatting to a girl I knew from school lately. :)

I think this is a more common phenomenon in the states where many people marry early only to divorce when they turn 24. :)
