when i went to set up my eircom dsl do-it-yourself job, basically everything went smooth, i can surf for a about 20 secs and then the modem turns itself off and then on again! it's shoddy.

i rang them up looking for answers but sure they said send it in to them to be replaced. i tried re-installing, every class of thing possible and still it knocks itself off and then on with an annoying clicking noise, has anyone got this problem from a dsl modem before(Netopia Cayman series 3341)?

    Worst modem ever.

Er, I'm using this modem and that doesn't happen to me :) Did you check all the FAQs and support pages, or google the problem?

You prob checked but are you sure the power cable isn't just loose? remember there's 2 cables connected by an adaptor so check where they're joined
