Strange Hertz Pricing

I am flying to Brussels next month, and needed to rent a car for 4 days.

First I checked via the Hertz Link on the Ryanair Website. PRICE WAS 222 Euro.

Then I checked via the Hertz.ie Website. First Relief, only 132.91 Euro. Still a bit steep.

Check Hertz.de and get the same Car for the same dates for 96.86 Euro. Incredible. How can there be a 35 % difference.

I guess another Ripoff to the Irish.

in defense (slightly) of hertz ireland....ryan air get block bookings at stupidly low prices from hertz and then sell them on at an inflated price...then when you get to the converted WWII airstrip you find out the rental place is only open 2 hours a day. You then phone and abuse hertz instead of ryan air...another perfect crime.

Although the ie vs de price is no surprise.. the dont call it ripoff ireland for nothing
