internet prob in rh8

everytime that i try to connect to the internet on my workstation i get the following error "the document contains no data" i have all my proxy set up and gateways and dns and ip set up but still no joy i previously had rh 9 in stalled but had to go back to rh8 for project reasons and i connected perfectly using the same…
