Netsource down?

my netsource connection just went down and I don't seem to be able to reconnect through my DSL, but the little DSL icon is green on the desktop and both the lights on my DSL modem are green.

I keep getting the error message that the computer I dialed to is not responding. I'm currently posting this through eircon dialup. Anyone else having similar probs???

Having th exact same problem, except I'm with UTV. Connection went dead about 5 minutes ago but the modem lights and desktop icons are still green.

On the Balbriggan exchange here..

I'm in D-15 so Blanch exchange. Could it be a problem with the routing thingy in eircom??

same thing happening to me , on with the trusty old 56k

UTV went dead for me about 20 mins ago..............D.5....nearly tore me hair out trying to fix my end.......which wasn't broken,as I'm half glad to see, having read this thread, sampling the delights of 56k once more............

i suppose it would be too optimistic to expect retardcom (eircom) to fix this before 11 am tomorrow. Unless all it takes is an auto router reset or something

just for the record, it happened to me last night at 01:45 looking at the logs of the router.
