cant get drag off benson

hey all,

usually smoke JPB but smokin me mates benson for the past few days - he got down in shop but cant seem to get a decent drag off em neither can he, anyone else find this (did they change their ingredients?) or is it just that the fags are damp or something to do with the shop.

Well, I give a sh1t, because I smoke.

The reason you can't get a drag off a B&H is because of their "special" filter. It is alot more compact than one in any other cigarette. So stop buying that brand.

I smoke Marlboro because I can get a drag from them (as well as other reasons like taste preference). My personal bugbear is shop assistants asking me if I want Marlboro Lights when I ask for Marlboro. When I say no, I don't want Marlboro Lights, I want Marlboro, they say "Oh ... you mean Marlboro RED!!"

Well, I don't mean Marlboro Red, as there is no such product. I mean Marlboro, and when I say Marlboro, I mean fricking Marlboro.

If there are any shop assistants reading this, be warned. My patience is running very thin, and if my nicotine levels are very low, I am quite liable to jump over the counter and bite your throat until you bleed to death the next time I get this sh1t.

Is that fricking crystal? So don't act all surprised when it happens. Treat this as the final warning from a man who has only recently re-watched Falling Down and is very liable to go on a similar rampage if I get any more of this kind of provocation.

moisten the outside of the filter (where your lips would usually be) with your tounge then sqeez the moist part. its that thing some people do with malboro shites or silk cut ultra if they actually want to get a good pull off them

this is the 3rd pack i got from the same shop that cant get a drag off - maybe smoking too many J's ya get uste to having no filter hehe.

some mates coming round now so will ask em to compare and contrast the smokes.

will post the results after the analysis

A lot of cigs had to go through some name changes because of new Government legislation.

For example cigarettes cannot be labelled as Light, Mild, or "special"

So, Marlboro Lights, are in fact now just called Marlboro. Silk Cut Mild (everyone called them purple) are now called uhm, Purple!

Maybe that was part of the confusion in the shop, ColinM, as Marlboro Lights are now just Marlboro, so I guess it's Marlboro Red or Marlboro Gold (I'd also assume that Marlboro lights are more popular than the "reds").

Personally, I smoke Marlboro Lights or should I say Marlboro Gold!?:rolleyes:

Just whack the filter off them, and smoke like a truck driver! Lovely.
Or... stop smoking them, and go back to your old brand. B&H start to taste like cardboard after about 3 smokes.

conducted further tests with the smokes and they all came to the same conclusion as above.
placed the tobacco into 3 papers and smoked it without a filter only a roche and the tobacco tastes different then usual too

Upon further analysis of the smokes it was discovered that although they are in a sealed B&H pack there is no logo printed on the accused smokes either.

will mention it down in the shop later

well i went to the shop but i felt a bit paranoid complaining after buying skins smokes and drink so i said i would leave it till after i try out these smokes & am not buying inceminating evidence!

Drum is slightly damp so, if you dont roll right its almost impossible to get a drag.

Id say your smoking wet fags.

Benson are bad at the best of times anyway. Buy Decent Cigarettes
