recommend a decent amp and speakers for DVD 3-600euro

can anybody recommend a decent amp and speakers for DVD, mitsubishi black diamond for 300-600euro for the 2. i dont mind buying online if cheaper/better. doesnt have to blast the house down, just want quality sound. want to use it as my cd player too also is a home cinema kit worth considering instead?
