This Friday night, October 17th, French Saxophonist Patrice Brun makes a welcome return to the Boom Boom Room after a great performance there last July.
Brun leads his own quartet, featuring original compositions and standards drawn from the classic New York groups of the 1960s.
Joining him this time are Greg Felton(Piano), Dave Redmond (Bass), and Kevin Brady (drums) providing the anchor.
Patrice has been playing music professionally for the past 12 years & moved to Ireland 4 years ago because of Irelands notable Jazz Scene. He quickly built up a reputation playing with various combo's & this was furthur enhanced by his connections made while studying at Newpark College where he is in his final year. He currently teaches Saxophone @ Waltons school of music in his free time. This is a great opportunity to check out some really great live jazz before you head down to Cork for the Weekend or if you are not going to the Jazz fest'then this will be the next best thing! Hope to see you there.
The Boom Boom Room is located just off the top of O'Connell Street above Patrick Conway's Pub.
    70 Parnell Street Dublin 1.
    Doors: 8:30pm
Admission: 6 euro/5 Euro with Flyer.
    ***** FORUM USER DISCOUNT ****
Only 4 euros admission if you mention "PHANTOM" at the Door. No Flyer needed! It's the Weekend!
    Please support Live Music.
    Thanx.

I believe Kevin Brady has been replaced by a chap called Keith Barry. A very accomplished drummer by all accounts.
