Anyone know any websites with a detailed map of Ireland, particularly the South/South-West?

    Thanks.

(wasn't sure where to post this?)

Essentially they don't exist - buy Michelin or Ordnance Survey maps on paper. Ordnance Survey can tailor some maps for you.

However, An Post / Kompass / Ordnance Survey have a product with GIS (geographic information system) - it costs.

Try http://www.viamichelin.com/ Click on Maps and enter the area you want. "Dublin" gets the attached map (zoomable)

Of course excellent online maps for other countries exist, including some which can pinpoint addresses pretty accurately. Ireland's a bit behind the times on this one.

Of course, if we had post codes it would be a bit easier too.
