I am trying to learn Irish. I have begun a 20 week conversational Irish (an gaelann) course. Could anybody reccomment programmes on TG4 or Rnag with Munster Irish.

Tá clár uair a chloig ar R na G gach lá ó Luan go hAoine ar a 12 am. Cloistear Gaolainn bhinn bhlasta ann. N'fheadar fé TG4, ach tá blas breá Cúil Aodhach ag an Leotardach.

There's an hour long programme on R na G every weekday at 12 o' clock. You'll hear very good Munster Irish there. I don't know about TG4 but Paudí Ó Leotard comes from Cúil Aodha.

Sin an chaoi a Mhíshásta! Ná tabhair aon armlón do lucht an bhéarla i do choinne.

    Seo sceideal RnaG:

    http://www.rnag.ie/gaeilge/sceideal.html

    Bí ag faire air!

Aon rud ó Bhaile na nGall (Ciarraí), ó Mhúscraí (Corcaigh) == Gaeilge na Mumhan.

Maidir le TG4: is minic go mbíonn meascán canúintí ar a gcláracha sin. Is dóigh liom ná bíonn an méid sin cláracha ó Chúige Mumhan amháin acu ach fair amach do chláracha fáisnéise (documentaries) ó Chúige Mumhan a bhíonn air ó am go ham.

Oh, if you're just beginnig: rough translation of my post above

That was the url for Radio na Gaeltachta's schedule. Anything from Baile na nGall (kerry) and Múscraí (Cork) will have Munster Irish. Best to keep an eye on the schedule as they have other shows from Munster too.

As for TG4, usually they have a mixture of dialects on the shows, can't think of any right now that has mostly Munster ppl on it, watch out for documentaries about Munster though.
