NTL internet

I would just like to say some good things about NTL cable internet,

Its fantastic. I pay €20 each month for 600K download and 128 up . This is uncapped and I got to keep the modem for free.

The inital install cost €65 and was installed by a professional chap ( a bloody nice bloke called Mark)

I did have a problem after only two weeks but they came out and fixed it within 1 day and havent had a problem since.

I thinks its only available in D24, but anyone in the area I reccomend it.

My only problem is that i need a bigger hard drive cause of all the
stuff i download (legal of course)

enough to turn most away from the service i'm sure
hard drives are relatively cheap though

i wish for something like that instead of the lagtastic dial up i suffer from. even 33K would make me happy for the moment

I was interested in this package also so I rang NTL. The telephone operator asked me did I live in Tallaght or Lucan. I said Lucan. She says that I was in luck as these are they only two areas that NTL supply broadband. So I was giving my NTL account number and adress when she suddenly says that I can't get broadband in my area and said that she will get in contact with me when its available. My friend down the road has it. I thought to myself only in this country does this crap happen.:mad:

I'm in Lucan and I got it about two months ago. It's €40 a month evrywhere other than Tallaght though. Still a great service but it's just not relevant to most people in the country...still waiting for it to be rolled out to the rest of Lucan even.

I am in Lucan too and I also pay E40 per month- Bit I am satisfied with the service!
