    i can't wait,i was only thinking about it a while ago and up it pops on bbc1-new series starts thursday.what events were there ,remember brian budd,vic charles ,jody scheckter ,brian hooper ,frank bruno.it should be great

    oh man, what a blast from the past!!

    What exactly did Brian Budd do?

    I only remember him being the champion of the Squat Thrust and the Chin up. Was he a canadian gridiron player or something?


    Anyone remember Pat Spillane on it, complete with the 'farmers tanlines' in his singlet?:)

    Kevin Keegen in his perm days falling off his bycycle also comes to mind:)

    can't remember what brian budd did,papers said today there won't be too many contemporary sports people as there's too much risk of injury etc .kevin keegan got injured at the height of his carrer couldn't imagine it happening now

    any ideas on who are the contestants??any irish?? think paul hunter the snooker player is on it,they mentioned it on bbc2 during the snooker coverage over the past week

    some big names in it ,hopefully it'll be nice to see some of those overpaid premiership 'stars get' trounced
