Netsource have announced that their products are all unlimited even for heavy downloaders. The announcement was made today on ENN and can be viewed Here

"There are no download limits, so no penalties exist for heavy network traffic."

How clear do these guys have to be . Please stop slagging them now :D . BTW The ENN editor is sheila@electricnews.net .

    Utterly bewildered...

How can they claim on one hand to have nolimits and on the other they implement an unseen monthly cap.

I'm reeling from the bizarre nature of whats going on..

And what happened to no more residential customers? Sounds like someone was winding everyone up there. Don't believe all you see on boards.ie, eh?

Wonder can I enter the competition to get a years free DSL with Netsource? Even though I already have their SOHO (although not for much longer it looks like). Free DSL would indeed be the best offer on the market..

Sigh, just realised I've answered yet another Netsource thread.. How many is that today then?

The number of threads? Possibly going for a record here, maybe we should start another thread or two about it. And throw a poll in for good measure.

If we're really going for it lets just start new threads on every forum on boards with just the headline "Netsource" and link it back to this post. That way we can get everyone on here involved. It will feel like a real community effort. Plus a handy bit of advertising for Netsource too. Everyones a winner!

This is true! Two people who work with me asked netsource to do a line test. Before they would even do a line test they where asked if it was to be used for business or not. They had no problem in giving them the line as long as the account went through a business. They were told over the phone that netsource were no longer dealing with residential customers.

On a side note - Ive had the SOHO package for nearly 3 months now. Mostly use it for browsing/playing games/working. Wouldnt download to much with it (do all my downloading in work). Anything that I have downloaded would come down at around 45kb/50kb constantly. Ive never had a problem with them. Must one of the few from what I read here!
