    just wondering whats the best place to be in the point during a concert, I don't wana stand so any ideas. I've never been in the point before either.

    Saw the Foos play from the middle of the balcony on the right hand side (as you face the stage. Sound was pretty good except in the balconies you always get the little screaming people there with their parents acting like, well, children and they were drivin us mental :|

    The point is a bit crap no matter where you sit. The smaller venues like The Olympia and Vicar street are much better... obvoiusly this is probably of no use to you as you probably want to see some particular act that are playing in the Point but I thought I'd let you know anyway :)

    I've been in the enter of the back seats for 3 gigs now.
    Now it's a fair aul' distance, but the view of the whole stage is very good.

    A rule of thumb which can be applied to any venue is to stand directly in front of the sound desk.

    Best sound in the house (after all that's where its being mixed) and it's usually a fairly decen view of the stage.
