Just been told i must use my holidays from work soon. Its October and I am Skint so it looks like a week of Playing Championship Manager 4.How Bad but i am having problems trying to think of a good challenge to keep me occupied for the week like. If anyone knows of a real challenge let me know.

    CM System
Using EP5 with Updated Transfers Patch so Squads and Divisions Are Up to Date . Tim Howard at United , Wolves in Prem etc

CM Data Editors And Scouts Are the Sons of Satan . Neither are Installed.

Try taking Florentia Viola (formerly Fiorentina) from Serie C2 back to the top of Serie A in Italy.

I started this and after finishing 1st in Serie C2, then first in Serie C1, I'm now top of the table in Serie B, and looking good for promotion.

Its not the hardest of challenges as you have a good reputation for free signings and good loanies but see if you can get to Serie A in 3 or 4 seasons, then win Serie in 6 maybe

Nothing to do with CM, but how the fup have Fiorentina ended up in Seria C2? Bati-goal hit a bad patch of form? :p

Bati-gol is gone long ago.. Fiorentina went Bust and had to reform under a new name and start back in Serie C2

Take over Wimbledon, some good players but 50 million in debt and way over their tiny wage budget. Also fans are boycotting so poor attendances.

Try and get them up in your first season in charge and then try and keep them in the premiership. Very very hard but very enjoyable I had just finished my second season in charge when the crappy PC in work crashed while saving.

The "enhancement packs" are available to download from www.sigames.com

new version of the game is out in November I think

Five Seasons into the game and Serie A is still a long way off.
Serie C1B in Fact. One Promotion, Lost Two Playoff Finals and No Relagations so far - Saving this one for when i hit Serie A , thats if i ever reach Serie A.

Wimbledon , i ll keep my eye out for the Wimbledon job , maybe in a few years

is it acctualy posible for a club like wimbledon to go bust in the game and stop existing without dropping divisions ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,398 ✭✭✭the fnj

I don't think they can be removed from the game but they will end up dropping out of the the main english leagues.

How about taking over Leeds, wiping out the debt, buying a few decent players, winning the FA Cup and getting into the Champions League? And if you manage all that is there any chance you could let the Leeds board know how you did it? :D

Tried Leeds a couple of months ago but they sacked me before i had a chance of turning the club around

Got my own lil challenge going on at the mo - trying to keep Sheffield Wed in the premiership. Got promoted in 03/04, now its 25 games into the premiership season, im 18th with 26 points, Everton are 17th on 27 points and Leeds are 19th on 23. I haven't been out of the bottom 3 all season :(

    (GK) Rami Shaaban
    (DC) Jay McEveley
    (DC) Ryan Green
    (DC) Steve Elliott
    (ML) Alan Quinn
    (MC) Garry Flitcroft
    (AMC) Shefki Kuki or Leonardo
    (MC) Juan José Jayo
    (MR) Steve McManaman
    (SC) Tomi Petrescu
    (SC) David Aganzo (on loan)

Utterly erratic team. Lurch from winning games 3-0 away to losing 4-0 at home.

    - if u fancy a financial battle they're a great team to play with. !st couple of seasons are extremely crucial. Once you go into administration you are in deep dep trouble - you have no control when a club bids for your player (usually for sale to reduce the wage bill) and often end up with 3 new players(5 one time!) in exchange all on more money, doh!

Ahh, the sweet feeling of success. 07/08, the premiership all but won, and the UEFA cup in sight. Finally! :)

    (DL) Jay McEveley
    (DC) Philippe Mexes
    (DC) Tim Jacobs

    (ML) Paul Reid
    (MC) Scott Parker
    (MC) Kim Kallstrom
    (MR) Sidney Govou
    (SC) Wayne Rooney
    (SC) Tomi Petrescu

Sheffield Wednesday finally getting the success they don't really deserve. Woo!
