Which LCD monitor to buy and where?

Can anyone advise me which LCD monitor to go for. My budget is up to €400. What about the Samsung 17" LCD Syncmaster 172V ? Has anyone bought one? Will be used mainly for surfing & desktop applications. Occasional gaming too.... If anyone has any links it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
