Go into the menu on each box and do system test, this will tell you whether each box has dial tone or not, also get the tech to tell you how to do manual callback on each box to prove they areall on the same phoneline.

It was my understanding that the dialing prefix was only needed if the box was on an extenstion line of, for example, an Internal telephone network.
With most Inernal extensions, you have to dial 0 or 9 to get an outside line - unless programmed, a dodgybox does not know that.

Using 01 as an additional prefix will get you nowhere,
especially if the number the box is programmed to dial a 1800 or 1850 number. Using the additionaly programmed 01 prefix, your box effectively dials 011800 which is a non existant STD code.

Delete the 01 Prefix from the dodgybox and try a set-up test.
