if they feel like a trek up the mountains, Johnny Fox's in Glencullen, or Taylor's Three Rock in Rathfarnham do trad sessions most nights, the only problem would be getting there and getting back!

I've heard that merchants quay (down by christchurch on the quays) is a popular place for a good ole session but I've never been there so can't back it up.
