24 cans at 12 us ounces is only 15 british pints and he sets aside a day to do it while talking like he's training for the olympics or something.

Twelve noon is most appropriate and convienient. Now, start drinking. Slowly. Sip on your beers, savor the flavor. It's best if you simply sit down on a picnic table with the cooler within arms reach. Drink at least half of the beers in a case by 4:30.

Ha. This guy should try the 12 can challenge.

12 cans of Dutch Gold. Two hours. A can every ten minutes. Hilarity ensues.

well I drank 3 liters of red wine in 2 hours , approx 16 pints @5% proof in about 2 hours , well to be honest it left me paralytic with a truly horrible hangover. but if I drank the same over the space of a day the story would have been very different. somebody should sent this guy to a fleadh cheoil. Now that would be worth watching!

This is college frat drinking after finals....:D

Went to a few frat parties while in college but....Most of the guys are more concerned about getting laid then becoming a drinking god...Who knows...I've become a lighweight over the last 2 years or so...I used to could hold my own in the clubs with the others but now....5 us beers are my limit..I'm nice and fuzzy with that :D

I'm just back from the states and this doesn't supprise me as I found they are mostly pathetic when it comes to drinking , Three or Four pints and they are falling all over the place and don't forget the beer over there is like piss compared to beer over here Budwieser is 4.3% there and 5% here and that would be a strong lager over there. I was over with a mate and the Bar maid thought we were alcoholics because we were over our Tenth pint with no sign of stopping. A bunch of lightweigths I tells ya.

    American Drinkers!.

Sorry, never heard of such a thing. I have heard of Americans being described as many things, but "Drinkers" naw never, simply impossible imho.

The only good thing about alcohol in the states is Everclear. Its 95% brought a bottle back from the states its rocket fuel. If anyone is heading over they should bring a bottle back + a bacardi 151.

Ah yes, good old bacardi 151, its 75%! Was over there with my friends during the summer, and that was our starter drink every day. We were in the hostel passing around the bottle, and the Irish and Brits would just drink it like it was coke. The Americans would just take one sip and they'd fall all over the place! They thought we were such alcoholics over there - just cos we found a shop selling 18 cans of miller for a tenner, and arrived back to the hostel with about 36 each!:ninja:

yeah nesthead , it was me , I was really just pointing out facts , a yank bragging about drinking to a paddy.
You should see the silly feckers here in galway , nothing as funny as seeing two of them sharing a glass of guiness and drinking it head first!
Now dont get get me wrong , I think they have a lot of things going for them , they're friendly and they have very white teeth but they cant drink to save their lives and they go to bed too bloody early.

Well you could get 18 of the 330ml MGD bottles, or else 18 cans (330ml cans) of Miller Lite for a tenner. Miller Lite was rotten though, so I only got one set of 18 cans and then I moved onto MGD. Never tried the Ice version, though it sounds kinda nice. Thought the wire thing on the barcardi 151 was quite funny - one of the guys in the hostel spent half an hour one day explaining how you could still turn it into a fire bomb if you really wanted to! Ah the Americans were all really funny, they were sound too - well most of them anyway. If it wasn't for all the drive by shootings it would be a brilliant place.

(note: drive by shootings do sound like fun, but they're actually not when they happen just up the road from you!)

I'm a cider drinker, and I'm stuck in Atlanta for the next three months! :f33r:

Bottled water is what most of the younger Yanks drink...oh I mean Miller Lite / Bud Lite / Rolling Rock...God help them if they were ever exposed to something like straight whiskey!

All bottles bottles bottles - the only time I saw a "proper" tall can was in a Kroger supermarket.

    What was it?

Heineken. The sh1ttiest out-of-can-tasting mankicity that mankind has stooped to create. *gah*

Me want pint! Of anything, just a proper sized pint, FFS!!

Thank the Lord that I'm working with a bunch of Europeans, incl another mick.

Ah you poor thing, it's absolutely impossible to get cider over there, unless you want to go into an Oirish bar and pay $6 for a pint! Move on Epitaph, its your only hope and Miller Genuine Draft isn't that bad! Don't go near that miller lite ****e, it actually tastes worse than the horse piss commonly known as heineken, still though, have a good time!:p
