Connection Question

I am finally getting round to re-cabling my av amp. I have a slight problem. I have three devices which can output an RGB signal, but because of the available SCART input/outputs on the devices and the fact that my TV only has 1 RGB enabled SCART and no component inputs, I can only connect two of them and take advantage of the RGB output. (sorry about the length of that sentence.)

I do, however, have the option of connecting a multitude of video devices to the amp itself and then run a RGB connection from the amp the the RGB enabled SCART on the TV.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this? I downloaded some cabling diagrams from the sony website but none of them mentioned this type of setup, they only showed SCART direct to TV. I really want to get my new cables ordered and get on with it.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

have you thought buying a switch ?
There are remote controlled switchers as well.

Going through your A/V receiver will degradate the PQ as you'll have to go composite...

You won't have to go to composite, even the most basic receivers should have s-video, with higher-end models having component-video inputs as well... however note that the vast majority of receivers don't do any sort of video conversion (i.e. you can't have two composites in and an s-video out).
