Surely we need a watchdog type program in ireland. You would have to ban complaints on ryanair of course but there would be plenty others i am sure.

if you ever in shop and you were having bother all would have to say is watchdog and they would be falling at your feet.

the rip off ireland forum might be interested in this.

i think that's a great idea but since the only thing is it would be on rte and so many would be complaining about rip off in the license fee and they wouldn't air the show

knowing our luck it would be sponsored by Eircom or some other rip off organisation

Ah I knew there was that sort of programme on RTÉ some time ago. Just couldn't remember the name. It was indeed cack though.

One of the few episodes I managed to see involved a guy complaining about bills he was getting from Digifone.

Why? Do you expect RTE to do something based on this forum?

    It would do well
No shortage of material for it
But as mentioned above, Rte would be a target

Cant remember the Uk version ever ripping into the BBC

I think an RTE points of view programme would be great

and a one hour rte watchdog programme instead of the rte daytime rubbish as most of the stuff they cover the daytime viewer would not have the money to get it like fashion etc
