    Hello,
I'm working in France and have my provisional driving license from Ireland. Can I use this to drive in France or do I need to get a French one by going thru the whole rig-ra-;a-roll of applying for a test and doing in here in France? I was hoping that I can use the provisional one and save myself alot of time and hassle as my work is a good distance from the city and at the moment I'm getting lifts of people. Its akward to be dependent on others.
    Thanks. Any suggestions welcome.

A provisional only allows you to drive in Ireland.

I reckon you would be better off taking the test here - might be a bit more tricky in France !

    Good luck,
    Silvera.
