just a quick question as i was just about to buy a 400 watt power supply in the wanted froum but decided to let it go just in because i caught something in my mother board manual that gave me pause. It says the minmum requirement for running the mobo is 300 watts, now that does that mean it can take a greater wattage than…

Minimum means exactly that. So 300 or more.
