Whats the crack with the panel on rte, i think that guy dara o brian is soo not funny.

is the point of it to show how the irish are all "mad", and why are they stuffed around that little table, did they borrow it from Ireland AM?

I enjoy it. I don't think it is much of a comedy.

Fiona Looney is getting to me.

But It's enjoyable all the same.

Every one of Dara O'Briain's "gags" involve him saying "eerrm". He needs a damn good parodying. Has he ever featured in a gift grub sketch? He could be a worthwhile victim.

Fiona looney deserves a good kicking each and every one of her jokes come from Gerry Ryan, or at least sound like it. She wasn't too bad last week because they kept covering for her but this week she was brutal.

If you want to hear a good parody of it, Dara in particular and his inability not say 'eeerrrrmmm' after everything, then tune into

    it's a comedy show.

The Panel has picked up a bit; I laughed several times during Monday's edition. Fiona Looney is a geebag and should be given the boot.

Ok cheers, I'll try to remember to listen in to that.
Nice use of the word geebag there, by the way. It seems to have fallen out of use a little lately. I must remember to use that word more often!

Fiona Looney never has been funny, never will be funny and will die not being funny (but that will be funny).

All the same, the guy from the Blizzard of Odd's pretty funny.

Do you reckon? I find that he thinks of something that clearly has potential to be funny but can't articulate it properly and resorts to pulling faces and/or making noises. Maybe I'm just being needlessly critical. Or maybe not. I don't know.

I think it is quite good. The bit last week about the guys watching in Mount Joy was quite funny. Mike Wilmot was also funny this week - "That's not a book - that's a pamphlet".

The Panel is actually based on an Australian show of the same name. I saw it a few times when I was out there and it is exactly the same format. Dara O'Briain was a guest on one episode that I saw.

I'm not watching it next week if Fiona Looney is still on. It was embarassing this week the way that nobody laughed at her "jokes".
