for both of them why isnt both the original and the +1 FTA
it seems silly to have one and not the other???

Do these channels appear in the EPG menu.
Or do you have to add them as other channels?

I have a UK FTV card.

Discovery is on the EPG at 551 and Fox Kids +1 is 610. An FTV card should* be fine.

    * not at home, so I cant check.

I have both version1 & version2 FTV cards and neither of these channels are available either on the EPG or by tuning them in manually.:(

Tried them last night on a non sky reciever and the came up scrambled. I wonder if these channels have been made just FTV to English Viewers like ITV2. Has anyone managed to receive these channels FTA (without the use of cards)

Lynsat is brillient but not 100.000% accurate.

They list National Geographic as FTA on Telstar12 at 15W.

I'm sure it isn't on that bird at all...

Sometimes for a short while something might be FTA. It gets "posted" to lyngsat, but later it is gone again.

Whole bunch of dutch TV was FTA for a whole weekend. I got some good english programs then.

the NG alt.satellitetv.europe usually has any "breaking news" of unusual FTA and when it is gone again.
