    My actuator went down yesterday and i dont know what to do i was wondering if the one that martin is selling on sature or tony is selling on satellite.ie is diseq or 36v normal acutators.

    One other thing how can i calculate the length of my existing acuator is it from the end of the gearbox to the part where the telescopic pole comes out

    To be honest I've no idea where its measured from but i suspect its the "throw distance" IE the distance the end moves from fully closed to open. I usually use 12 inch for 80cm/1m dishes and 1.2m with limited range
