Scanning/enlarging

I've got lots of passport photos of people that I want to scan and edit in Photoshop. I'd like to be able to print them out a larger size than the originals actually are. There's an option in my scanning program that lets me enlarge images when scanning them. The scanner scales them up.

Will the images look ok when i go to get them printed or will i experience the same kind of problems experienced when scaling up images in photoshop ?

This is what my the relevant bit of my scan settings window looks like

    thanks

increase the dpi to whatever the max your scanner can do. Should get out a fairly large image which you can resize for printing.
