    Hi folks,
I don't know where else to put this so...

My girlfriend and I have both moved from Dubin, but I'm in Belfast, she's in Limerick. Bummer I know, but basically, the phone calls at the moment are far too expensive.

Does anybody have any ideas as to how we could talk to each other for cheaper? I have internet she doesn't by the way, just a mobile.

    Thanks folks,
    Sinecure.

umm, big of deja vue! same situation, I am too in Belfast and she is in Limerick

I have international call rate on the NTL line I have in the house, costs 2 quid a month but it means the calls are cheaper.

two tin cans and a looong piece of string?

write letters, seriously! I lived away from home for a while, and I could not afford to phone all the time, so I just wrote letters and post cards. (this also teaches you how to condense your sweet nothings into phrases like "love you, bye")

Well, we have e-mail and instant chat but it's really not the same, as you know.

Im sort of in the same boat.. the woman's in Co. Donegal... and Im in Co. Derry...

if you both have lane lines... and *your* on Phone line is with Bt...

Bt do a packages called "BT Together" - Options 1,2,3 ...

Option 3 is 28.50 (english pounds per monh) and allows After 6 until 8 the next morning... - No charge for up to an hour pell call (so hang up after 50 mins, if you last that long.... and ring her back.. if you know what I mean )-
At Weekends there is no charge from 6pm friday to 8am Monday....

This is calls between the north and South ....

    ring them and enquire anyway
