Its got to be Hurling. You just get sucked in and you have to marvel at the skill on display in most of the inter-county matches.

Football (soccer) would be a close runner up, especially when Ireland are involved.

With out a doubt the greatest sport to ever grace humanity is Ice Hockey. It has everything from high skill levels to speed and physicality. Finally lots of goals with excellent refereeing and rules systems form the greatest sport in the world.
Hurling would be a close second expect for the fact too many times the game breaks down due to poor rules and refereeing.

soccer and american football and rugby would then all sit in a similar bracket for me with regards third slot.

I, like most of the Irish (or its probably just Dubliners confused:) call soccer, football. what kind of football are you talking about. American, GAA?

    Anyway, my choices would be:
    1: Soccer
    2: Snooker
3: Rugby Union (if Ireland are playing)
4: Golf (If there is an Irishman playing)
5: GAA (If Dublin ar playing)

As you can see from my decisions I mainly just watch sports if there is someone I am supporting unless it is a vital game/tournament. I am actually watching the West Ham -v- Cardiff game at the moment to see how David Connelly and Graeme Kavanagh perform and if Kerr is watching I think Kavanagh will be getting a phone call soon.

down with all sport except for Rallying.
hate F1 cos they just go around in circles although I went to 24 hr Le Mans year before last and there is a great buzz when you're there.

Historic Rallying is my fav at the mo.
    Getting into Autotest too.

I'd prefer to watch show-jumping over any other sport. After that I'd pick F1, or any motorsport.
