Where/Who do you report incidents of hacking?

I was hacked on Sunday afternoon and the person even managed to get through my firewall! I know some personal documents were read and phone numbers and personal details were lifted....

Being extremely security minded I am shocked this has happend to me and annoyed that my firewall didn't protect me as it should have...

Can i report this to anyone?

    Which firewall are you using?!

If you have the IP address, you can check the IPWhoIs (http://www.dnsstuff.com) and then send an email to the ISP or the company who owns the IP. Generaly you can use abuse@name of the company.

Zonealarm Pro is the program I use.

I don't have the IP address I think. I must check to see if it is still logged on the program log files.

Nothing has happened yet but If it does I will follow your advice raphaels.

I have contacted all relevant parties and added extra security features to my accounts etc..

    Thanks for that.
