Your first act should be (as with all Mods) to formulate a charter with the agreement and input of the people here, as to what they want you to police and enforce...

One of the things I would personally say from my experience of working with people who have "disabilities" is that we should not treat them with kid gloves. Robust discussion is good even if it might offend more PC types, so long as its civil.

See if theres anything in my original thread in Feedback / Suggestions.

One thing I would like the board to do is encompass as much as 40% of the population, not the 3-10% of people classicly labled as disabled or whatever. I would dislike a disabilities only forum.

Yeah I'm not a huge of fan of being all PC and wrapping people with disabilites up in cotton wool. Debate is healthy and I've no problem with it, once it doesn't go too far.

Heh, oh god dont anyone get me started on my views on PC-ism.

I tend to get quite irate and stupid. though in fairness when people first start to come into contact with anyone who has a disability in person they do naturally tend to go on kid gloves. its when they keep it up that they act stupid
