    Tribal Wisdom vs. Government Wisdom

Guess it could be used in other areas too.

The tribal wisdom of the plains Indians, passed on from generation to generation, say that when you discover you are riding a dead horse, the best strategy is to dismount.

In modern government, however, a whole range of far more advanced and superior strategies are often used, such as:

    • Buying a stronger whip.
    • Changing riders.
    • Threatening the horse with termination.
    • Appointing a committee to study the horse.
    • Arranging to visit other countries to see how they ride dead horses.
    • Lowering the standards so dead horses can be included.
    • Reclassifying the dead horse as "living impaired".
    • Hiring outside contractors to ride the dead horse.
    • Harnessing several dead horses together to increase their speed.
    • Providing additional funding and/or training to increase the dead horse's performance.
    • Declaring that as the dead horse does not have to be fed, it is less costly, carries less overhead, and therefore contributes substantially more to the bottom line of the economy than do some other horses.
    • Rewriting the expected performance requirements for all horses.
    • Or lastly, promoting the dead horse to a supervisory position.

the important question isnt that the horse is dead but who killed it?
We certainly didnt, I was like that when I got here. In fact the horse is recovering better us than the previous government!

Less of a dead horse, and more like a disabled, three legged, greedy, money robbin, back handin, ugly, book fiddlin, obese, sloppy muel, that just got hit by a car.

    Very well written indeed.
