pre-deb's coming up in november..... asked the hottest girl in my class..... she scarly accepted.... (me ponder's)



now what do i do regarding collecting her, gift's,what to wear and the like!

i was going to get a merc hackney and go in that. but as for the rest??????

No, no, no, it's a predebs.

There's a world of difference in predebs. Some are formal, most are not. It's basically an excuse for a class pissup. Wear normal going out on the pull clothes, buy a small box of chocs for her (but only if you're so inclined), and pay for all or most of her drinks, if you fancy a bit of action.

If it's formal, well, I wouldn't go, but do what cartman says.

Em, wtf with a pre-debs? The whole point of a Debs is that it's a debutante (début, ie first time). IMO, a pre-debs blows away the whole point of having a proper debs. If your gonna go to a Debs, it might as well be a spectacular start to something special or a fantastic night...

most schools have theirs at the end of a school year[around june]...

you dont go with any1 i thought... wear a tux anyways, impress the lady and out smart all ur mates...

In our town, the pre-debs is a piss-up with a cover fee, which helps raise money to rent buses and stuff to take everyone home from the actually debs, to lower the price of the actual debs tickets. So if you go to both, it's like paying in installments.

Our pre-debs was in November of 6th year. For the most part, including ours, most pre-debs are informal piss-up/going-on-the-pull events so don't be too worried about it

On my pre debs (we called it our grads) I spent the whole time in the toilets with a spectacularly drunk pal... thanks a lot, love.
I would say, smart suit but not a tux, a very small gift as a token of your... intentions (!)
Collect her from her house, though. That's very gnetlemanly and girls love feeling special. Don't just offer to meet her in the pre pub pre debs!

Ask your class mates what they will be wearing so you don't look a spa when you walk into the room. Or ask her what she will be wearing. Quip jokingly a question about what underwear she will be wearing but secretly record the conversation with a microphone hidden in your sleeve. You can then play it back to her at a later date and surprise her with your wit

But seriously, ask your classmates.

we have no pre debs but i'm taking two girls i just met last night to my debs, that gave the ould ego a good shot in the arm when they both accepted simultaniously

Hmm... I went to a pre-debs there a few months ago.

Most of the guys where wearing nice pants and shirts (a little dressier than normal going on the pull stuff) and most of the girls were wearing nice tops and skirts or trousers.

Choccies would be nice but never occured to me, or my date! His dad drove us to it!

Good point. Made that mistake myself at my grad ball last year. Turned up in a suit while everyone else was in tux or gown. having said that, after around 5 pints, it's all the same, nobody cares.

No where would give our school a pre-debs.

It's because it just a ****ing piss up no where wants a bunch of 17/18/19 year olds. Also another school i know booked one but there was a girl going and her ma rand up and said what time was the pre debs over at and they said there was no pre debs she wsiad there was then the copped on and ****ed them all out before it got going.


You don't need a date for god's sake it's just a pissup.

We tried to have our before Christmas but alas no luck, we even tried giving the name if the school in Irish but they copped on.
