help with chords

    Ordinarily im alright at working out nifty ways to whittle down complicated songs to nice acoustic chord patterns so i can play them on my own butim really srtuggling with this one!

    does anyone have a way to make 'God Only Knows' by the Beachboys work on a solo acoustic????

    even leaving out the orchestral interlude bits its so hard to put anything together to sing over!

    Obviously the 'god only knows what id do without you' bit is a sort of Asus2 chord down to G# on the top string and then F#m with e and b open or whatever but the rest is a friggin nightmare!!!!

    is it possible!!!!????

    ps: id prefer actual replies rather than just URLs but any help welcome thanx!
